About

This is the cautionary tale of someone who builds a perpetual motion machine and the unintended consequences. The machine is described as being made from all kinds of bits and pieces, from skateboards to discarded pianos, and has no known power source.

Jack Prelutsky is a widely anthologized American poet and author. His poetry is particularly aimed at younger readers.

The Perpetual Motion Machine was written for Chinese choral director Dixian Teng.
